Hello World!
Generally speaking, I try not to buy into the whole "New Year/New You" industry that feeds us self-renewal like this is our only chance to make a change in our lives. After all, I don't know how this calendar of ours came to be and it's easy for me to imagine that this whole first day of the year was pretty arbitrarily chosen.
But, for better or for worse this is the calendar we're stuck with and that year that just ended (like Lord Voldemort and certain exes, it's name shall not be mentioned) sucked balls, in my humble opinion. So 2011, bring it! And since I want you to be better, I too will try to be better in return.
My first big undertaking of the New Year (aside from getting out of my pajamas and taking a shower - that happened at 6pm today - not bad, right??) is this here brand new shiny blog of ours. I hope you like it! Give us feedback - we heart comments.
